We Are All Connected

Message/Experiment of the Week:

Have you ever felt like deep down we are all connected and part of the same great whole? I recently heard Neale Donald Walsh teach that we are all like individual fingers on a hand and at the base we are all connected and part of the same great whole. This brought to mind Pando (only a few hours from my house in Utah), which is one of the largest and oldest living organisms on the planet. It is a colony of aspen trees that have identical genetic markers, and the colony is connected together by a giant underground root system. I love this concept that deep down we are all connected because love and connection are what life is all about.

The experiment for this week is to think of each person you come in contact with for the next 24 hours as an extension of yourself and part of the same great whole. Play around with the idea that when you love, judge or hate each person you are really loving, judging or hating yourself. Then reflect on your experience and write about it in your journal.

Quote of the Week:

"While we may appear separate like fingers on a glove, we are all stitched together by the thread of humanity." - Unknown

Question of the Week:

Why does my love for myself and others grow every day?
