Your Funeral
Message/Experiment of the Week:
What do you want to be remembered for at your funeral? Do you want to be remembered for loving wholeheartedly and giving 100% to your family, friends, and commitments? Do you want to be remembered for making others feel truly seen and loved because of your wholehearted love?
These are all things that a hero was recently remembered for at her packed funeral. Her son also shared that when he was in high school he was on the baseball team, and his mom (who had no natural interest in baseball) had flash cards and went to great lengths to learn baseball because it mattered so much to her son. One example of this was her snuggling up to him at breakfast and asking him why anyone would ever do a suicide squeeze, which is where the batter bunts to give a runner on third a chance to score and often results in a very close play. She was always there to support and assist her kids and many others. Every day she would pray for each of her kids by name, which meant a lot to them because they always knew she was praying for them.
For an experiment this week think of the number one thing you want to be remembered for at your funeral and create more of it in your life.
