Love

Message/Experiment of the Week:

How would you describe love? Here is how Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) described it: “Love is understanding, redemptive goodwill for all men, so that you love everybody….. and here you come to the point that you the love the individual who does the evil deed, while hating the deed that the person does.” "Loving Your Enemies," Sermon Delivered at Dexter Avenue Baptist Church | The Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute (stanford.edu)

In his short 39-year existence MLK was able to harness the power of love to bring about incredible nonviolent change in the world.

For an experiment this week focus on understanding the people you encounter and having goodwill for them, even those doing things that are wrong.
